Coil spring replacement
First post, hope question not to troublesome, read lots using search function.
I have a 2004 GT vert with 4.6 2V and automatic transmission. Trying to sort out poor ride quality, as I just purchase the car used. For the time being decided to return the car to original ride height, at my age, ride quality is preferred over looks or handling. Struts, shocks, control arms, tie rod ends recently replaced. Car on the bump stops too much for me. Anyway, where can I purchase stock ride height springs, as they are NLA from Ford? The door jam sticker list the springs as PP22. My research can find a set of Moog front springs, but no rears. My last Mustang was a 1966 and it rode better than this apparently lowered 04 model.
Sorry for long first post, hope to get ride quality sorted, so wife doesn't want to sell car.
Thanks, Larry

As an older guy myself, original owner of a completely stock, similar car,all that I can say is that these things just ride rough, worse than a 66..
I think that I've evolved into being more of an Audi A4 cabriolet guy,or satisfying my open air need with my sunroof equipped 2014 Accord, which is far smoother, and superior in every way.I'll probably offer my GT for sale shortly. If I can get a fair number,it's gone.If I can't, no big deal if it stays here.
...If you just did struts, that was the time to do front springs.
Perhaps someone here wants to swap stock springs for your short ones.
I haven't read similar complaints about cars with shorter springs spending a lot of time on the bump stops..maybe your springs are originals that you were cut?

Your best bet for stock springs would be to pull some off of a wrecked or otherwise out of commission vehicle. Check your local Craigslist page for cars being parted out in your area. Also check RockAuto.com, they often have things you can't seem to find anywhere else.
