Default Why do I already have underbody rust.

Have had my 02 gt for about a week now.
I have noticed how there is rust on the entire exhaust system, drive shaft, entire rear end, and control arms.
Is this normal for a ford that only has 41,000 k miles?
also it looks like there was water or something spilled all over the trunk liner.
Is the rust natural or was my car in a flood or something.
I would really like your input
thanks

Rust under car= normal
In the trunk, may have been cleaned at dealer for some reason.

It's complete normal but if it bothers you, you could always get an aluminum driveshaft and a stainlesss steel exhaust with coated headers. The exhaust is going to discolor anyway though. It's normal.

My carpet is curling also. My car never sees rain or snow, never in a flood and im the original owner. Therefore its normal. I think your just paranoid about your car.(LOL)
