Default quad shocks

what does it sound like when quad shocks go bad? any way to distinguish if it's the quad shocks or the regular ones that are squeaking? I have a little creaking coming from the rear when driving and my rear wheels feel bouncier than they used to, but I can't figure it where the squeaking is coming from.

do all four when you change shocks. thats my best advise.

but if you want to really know disconect the two horizontal shocks and see if you still have a squeek.

is there any point in buying aftermarket type quad shocks? I have no idea what the purpose of the quad shocks are.

The function of the quad shocks is to prevent wheel hop. Your best bet is to put good aftermarket upper and lower control arms on your car and you will not need the quad shocks anymore.

so if I get some good uca's and lca's I just remove the quad shocks completely? this will be better for all around handling than having quad shocks?
