Trying to locate power connector 361
I have a 99 Mustang GT that will not crank. It first appeared to be a PATS problem but after much research and accidentally catching the fan running when the car had not been running led me to discover this is a "safe" mode. The thread I read had the exact same symptoms I am having..."Confirm crank no start. Unable to communicate with PCM. Check powers and grounds. The solution was no power in circuit 361 pins 71 and 97...wires open in harness under battery repair 5 wires re test and pass."
My question is where in the heck is circuit 361? For the life of me I can't find it. Can anyone help me with this? I think I have looked at it for so long that I can no longer see the forest for the trees.

You need a 99 mustang gt factory service manual that shows that harness connector with a pin out diagram of every one of the pins. The circuits are numbered in the service manual with a pin out of every plug in that circuit.

I have the shop manual with the wiring diagrams but I can't for the life of me find the physical location of circuit 361. My Dad taught me many things about cars when I was "Daddy's little girl" but lost him before we got to wiring schematics. So I am a little lost here. Can anyone tell me the location or have a diagram of the physical location of this connector?

It is a connector, a circuit, or a pin on a specific harness?
This ford PCM connector 194 shows pins, and their Circuits:
You see there, Pins 71 and 97 diagonal from each other, are Circuit 361, that is the circuit. They are RED, power inputs.
This is the list of the pins and circuits:
Yes, this says 2000 V6, but its the same designation for those to pins across
a lot of Ford platforms.
So, you test for voltage on those two pins, if you have it at the harness, then it's
not getting to the ECU side.
