Its the wierdest thing. Once and a while, when i shift my car from park to drive my car gives out a short whistle. It sounds like its coming from the trans. Im not sure if its coming from the trans or what. Any help would be great.

Ive heard of something similar to that and it may just be that the car is cold. When it warms up it should be fine.

Actually it doesnt happen right away, it happeneds after ive been driving it for a while.

mine does the same thing....I have a 98 GT, and I dont know why it does it, but I think my tranny is about to go out anyway....
