Supercharged 4.6
Never installed a supercharger before just wondering how difficult it could be? Lots of mechanical work done over the years I'm sure i could figure it out but just wondering what others think.

That’s my setup...I didn’t do the install, but I have the install manual and I’ve been through it to verify the kit was installed correctly and also to learn about the preventative maintenance procedures.
The instructions are laid out pretty good...step by step...there is potential with each install for modifications that need to be made, like re-routing and/or tweaking AC lines, filing down the factory drive belt tensioner for clearance...that sort of thing. But, again, the install manual covers things pretty thoroughly and the folks at Vortech seem to be readily available for technical assistance. I wouldn’t be afraid to attempt it. My mechanical experience includes pulling and rebuilding an engine, pulling heads for rebuilds, etc, but I think if you’ve had some experience with pulling stuff off an engine while in the car and know your car well and do the maintenance on it I think you’d be alright. It’s not a simple bolt-on job, but they did a good job with the design of the kit IMO and if you’re the type that enjoys the process of the job you won’t mind the time it takes and I can tell you my 8V 4.6 with that kit is a hoot. And it’s the best sounding car I’ve ever heard.
