Default t-45 trans

i went to the ford dealer today and i called fords main number and asked them about the tsb on the 2000 mustang trans and they saud ford does not fix it for free its just they know whats wrong with them . But my question is has anybody taken out the t45 trans and put in a tko trans , and is there any mods u need to do or is it a bolt up? Im worried about the drive shaft being cut and the clutch , thanks for your help guys

i know you have to buy a special bell housing. i am not sure on the cross memeber a drive shaft isn't really that big of a deal.

They don't do the TSB on a T45.

It's for the 3650 only & also on the T-56.

Also, your car has to be under warranty, which a 2000 isn't unless you purchased a 7 year plan.
