Default transmission issues

So i bought a 200 mustang GT a few days back and im having a few issues out of it.
First my clutch peddle is loose and the clutch will not engage unless the engine is off
Secondly when i start the car in gear i cannot shift out of said gear. Also when i start it the car will not stay started without slamming on the gas peddle and keep it down. It has a new clutch.
Lastly i was told the pilot bearing needs replaced because he put it in wrong could this be the problem

did you adjust the shift cable? if its stock everything (quadrant and cable) get in the car, push the pedal to the floor and release it, then with your hand pull up on the pedal and see if it ratchets or clicks. try this a few times and report back
