Default 2004 4.6 good buy or not

Hi guys, new to the forum and mustang world. Looking to buy a 99-2004 mustang thats been well taken care of, I came across this one and wanted to get thoughts on value. Is it overpriced, fair value or a decent deal. Im from BC, Canada so way less options up here.

This car only has 50 000 kms (30 000 miles) this owner has owned it since 2006 and clearly babies it. The only upgrades it has are a K&M cold air intake and a Flomaster exhaust. My goal is to pass this car on to my son in 10 years or so and will only be driven a couple thousand kms every summer until that happens. Let me know what you guys think.

I was told my 40th Anniversary Mustang in like new condition with V6 and 83K miles is worth $20K by a custom paint shop specializing in order cars. I did get a new paint job. However I paid far less for the car. 40th Anniversary cars are worth more than one year older car. Your proposed car having the V8 is worth more than my car, but I would think $15K is more realistic. Obviously, the car with low miles is worth much more than a 200K mile car. One out of 50 Mustangs in the 1994 to 2004 range have less than 100K miles in FL. Never seen a 50K mile for sale as old as 2004 or older in FL. I would also believe the 2004 Mustangs will increase in value a fair amount in the next few years.

To be clear, 99-04 mustangs have a 4sp Automatic, not 5sp as stated in the ad. Also the anniversary editions by themselves are nothing special. Just some badges. In my opinion, it’s over priced. Someone is trying to bank on the badges.

There are far newer Mustangs in the area that are around the same price or a little more . Ore that I would consider over it.

if you prefer the new edge (99-04) body style over the S197 gen 1 (05-09)
here is a truly collectible type of car 04 Mach 1. Four vlave dual overhead cam v8, shaker intake with 305 hp and 320tq. That’s as much power as the 05-09 GT. Higher mileage though.
