Best Racing Chip????????

I'm looking into a racing chip for my 96 GT any suggestions on which is the best from experience because I hear some do not work if you know of ones that do not work that would be helpful too

I had a friend that put a hypertech on his 01 trans am and it made a noticeable difference. I would assume it works just as well on mustangs, but very expensive.
