I don't mean to be fighting within the "stang family" but me and a friend have been trying to figure out how to get some cobra/ 05' corvette killers out of our non-pi cars! i'm almost stock and he has just got a pi swap kit. this is what we came up with.

1) Powerheads.com pi swap kit with a hot cam that claims 125 rwhp.

2) BBK long tubes, o/r x pipe, and loud mouth catback. about 15hp.

3) Zex 75 shot. 75hp.

4) gears we already have 3.73 for me and 4.10 for him.

5) a good mph tune.

We hope with those items plus our stock 225 hp we could get atleast 420 to the crank!
What do you guys think and also have anyone else used the powerheads pi swap kit and are there numbers true. We are debating on that set up or a s/c. Which would be better on our block. I have heard that the stock bottom is good for 450 hp is this true. And the nitrous would be sprayed about twice a month. also. is the compression to high after the pi swap to use a s/c.

i dont think u will hold with a c-6 vette with those kind of mods... those cars are damn quick. maybe with the heads but getting them ported, some better cams, a blower around 10psi, full exhuast, atleast a new TB/Plenum, and some gears to walk a new C6 vette... and you will need a better bottom end for that much power probably too.....

ive got one question... when people say the max limit is 450 hp... do they mean 450 rwhp or at the crank... and what type of dyno is this on? is it on a dynojet or a mustang dyno? i want to get my car to something like 400rwhp on a mustang dyno and i wonder if i can do it safely and which dyno i need to tune on and stuff.....

96-98 do have one advantage though. when go to non pi to pi you compression will go up to like 10:3.
code does have a hot set up,but he didn't exceed the limits.....not even close.with a p51 intake or a ported bullet intake he can gain some more hp. i have seen some hot 99+ set ups hit 350 to the wheels all day.
I am 336RWHP and am quite happy.
I'm going to be right witcha soon! I'm excited as #@&%!
