Suspension
Allright iam still learning alot of stuff .... what exactly do you need to have to have a pretty much full suspension, thats all everyones been talkin about lately and i know that its something i really need if i plan to get to my goal of low 12's *N/A.... the only thing i know is control arms ... but if someone could post all the components, what they all do, and how much everything runs.... thank you

RE: Suspension
Control arms are a good start. When you do the gears, an aluminum cover for the diff would be helpful. Most guys switch out the stock axles for 31 splines.
Springs are good to have and shocks/struts too. Sub frame connectors (full) to stiffen the body. If you have the time and skill, fully weld the torque boxes, or add a torque box kit, like battle boxes. This reinforces the areas where the CAs attach to the car.
I would also recommend polyurethane bushings and isolators to add stiffness.
Others? bump.

The aluminum cover helps dissipate heat better and they increase the structural integrity of the 8.8 rear.
31 spline applies to axles and the differential, not the ring and pinion gears. You can have the 4.10s installed without changing anything else.

Okay. There are loads of companies you offer various parts. After a quick review of the December issue of MM&FF:
1) 4.10 FRPP gears $179
2) Ring & Pinion install kit $100
3) 31 spline 8.8 traction-lok diff $199
4) Strange 31 spline axle w/ C clip eliminators $399
5) Axle girdle (cover) $140
6) Full length sub frame connectors $129
7) Aluminum Control arms (U & L) $525
This is not an exact figure and you may find better deals by shopping around or wathcing ebay. Total is $1671 as written, but does not include labor. If you want to do the gears, you'll need the install kit. IF you really want to beef it up, buy the stuff as you can, then do it all at once. With labor, you're easily at the $2500 mark I would think.
If will give you a much stronger back end that plants the tires better for traction. You'll need better meats in the back, and Mickey Thompson, BFG, and Nitto make drag radials for that. Wider rims will be necessary.
The stock 8.8 rear can handle about 400 hp. This will probably handle 600+. Your tranny will throw in the towel long before this stuff. The gears alone will astound you at how hard you accelerate with the stock motor.
This will give you something of a racing set up, but its still comfortably streetable for every day driving.
Hope this helps

RE: Suspension
Check out Griggs racing. They are pricey but probably the finest suspension money can buy. I plan on building out mine piece by piece starting at the rear. The final product will probably be somewhere in the range of about 19k-20k.

I found some upper/lower CA's on ebay for about 200 shipped.....you can find subframe connectors, Caster/camber plates, etc. on ebay for good prices.
I'm getting H&R supersport springs ~$230, shocks/strusts, and U/L control arms, maybe subframes. Thats enough suspension for me.
