Default RE: Styling Bar for Convertible - Where?

Thank you (everyone) for the many sites to look at for the styling bar. While checking them out I found other interesting things too.

Does anyone have the "Soft" Tonneau cover? How do you like it? Both abcexclusive and thefordsource have it. I definitely see the advantage of this cover is that it would fold up and go in the trunk (something we vert owners don't have much of). When you are away from home and have to suddenly put the top up, the hard tonneau covers would be a pain. Is the soft one stable "at speed"?
Any comments would help me choose a direction.

I know you said lightbar/stylebar but check out the real thing http://www.autopowerindustries.com/Roll_Bars.htm
I got one of those and not only it looks cool, but it makes the entire body of your vert stiffer. Good Luck

I'm sorry but that roll cage- looking thing just ruins your car.

I have to agree......maybe if you had a hard core drag car....but it doesn't look like you do. A light bar would look a lot better.

Yeah, but by the look in his eyes in the second picture, dobry might put the roll bar to good use!

I sure hope to keep mine on all fours and will go for the lightbar. I found that www.haneymotorsport.com has a kit that includes the CDC lightbar, a lexan windguard, and a full soft tonneau cover. That's just what I want. I like the looks of the hard tonneau covers but they just don't let you stray far from home if the weather is bad. You need to have someone driving a support vehicle behind you.
Eventually when I get everything installed I'll have my GT smile for the camera.

Like I said before I like the way it looks and the way it works ( stiffens the chassis ) + those light bars you guys talk about will give you no protection in case of roll over.
