Intake replacement

Intake replacement
I just bought a new intake for my 98 GT. I have the old one off and the surface areas cleaned ready to install my new intake.....AND THEN, I look at the top of my block and notice a hole that once had a plastic piece blocking it but is now broken. The hole is on the rear of the block facing the front of the car. Anyone have any idea what this is so i can try to order a new one?
