Default Automatic or Manual for a GT?

If you were going too buy a mustang GT and it was for daily driving and the occasional street race/strip would you choose an Automatic or a Manual? If your bored explain why? Just Curious. Thanks.

IMO, I prefer a manual. Its more fun to drive over an auto.

^Yes manual is more fun...

however if you are talking about a quick 1/4 mile time car--- a Auto is much better.
A auto with a Converter = prime... manuals cant touch them.

but like TRACK racing (corners etc...) manuals are superior...

and yes for the FUN FACTOR... manual is better.

Manual, HANDS DOWN.

Much more fun to drive, more powerful.

Yea auto is quicker in 1/4 time, but thats about it.. Manual all the way.

manual because of the fun factor since you are not going to be going to the strip that much from what you wrote.

I see I see, well if I was to do the occasional street race it would no doubt be a straight away which the auto would be better in. I dont know though, I like to listein to music alot when I drive so even if I had an Auto I don think I would get to bored with the music and all. But thats just me. Keep the answers coming....thanks!

LoL, I think we all listen to music when we drive...
Believe us, manual > auto overall.

But with an answer like that above.. You might as well go with the auto, doesn't seem like your really into the power and shifting anyway.

overall the manual is alot better. It makes driving the car alot funner, is that a word?? whatever. i drove an auto GT and it was nice, but i def would not own one tho. I guess if your older and drove manual cars in your life before and dont need anymore kicks, then the auto would be right up you sleeve. But i love stick and i never have once wished i had a auto. plus the chicks dig stick cars, esp Mustangs.
