what exactly do subframe connectors do?
Just what they imply. They connect the front and rear subframes to increase the frames ridigity to reduce body flex. They make your suspension do more of the work rather than the chassis itself. Most are pretty light. I think mine (Steeda full lenght subframes) are about 10lbs... Maybe less.

They should. Just make sure its a boxed type tubing not a circular type. The boxed tubing is stronger... Ooh you might also want to get some with a painted finish to resist rust, or paint them after you install them to avoid corrosion.

I'm going to order some ebay subframes too....can't go wrong, just tubes of metal.

And for $50....I'm willing to take the risk.

im going with the Kenny Brown ones just cuz i know they are a trusted name and plus i saw some for only like 90 bux though most others don't cost much more though i did see some hardcore Steeda ones that were up there in price. they should work i mean they are designed to do what other sub frames will do just either the material is not as durable and will rust or not be as tight or it could be a name thing as it is with everything.

Agreed. I got the Steeda's because they were on sale and they were a boxed full length from a trusted name brand. I don't buy the cheapo stuff, I just hunt for the most competitive prices... You might be able to find some Steeda's or Kenny Brown pieces on ebay for cheaper than retail if you look....
