4:10's or 4:30's for an auto. My opinion go 4:30's for auto. And you will need a hand held tuner to correct the speedo, and also reset the shift points. Either the SCT xcal 2 or the diablo predetor for the handheld

fill it up, reset tripometer, drive till you need to fill up, fill up. take the trip reading and divide by the gallons you put in. reset trip and do it all over.
I would say not to mess with it, but thats just my opionion

I just have used local auto stores for cleaning stuff, havent got any cleaning/wax stuff online yet.
1.) how can you tell how much mpg you're getting?
2.) should i get an extended warranty? are they worth it? I can probably get a 3 year one for around 1,200
3.) how can i tell what kind of gears my car has?
4.) does that autogeek website (for detailing) have decent prices? i need to buy stuff to wash/wax/whatever my car.. but don't want to get ripped off.

how expensive is all this stuff? including labor..
i would love if my car was/felt faster.. but i don't think i could spend anywhere near a grand for that.. if i could upgrade it significantly for around $500 i'd be interested..
sorry, i'm not cheap.. but i just bought the car, and need to make payments.. maybe i should finish paying the car off before i think of modding it. LOL.. nah

Technically you don't need to adjust your speedo. However if you dont your mileage will climb when not actually putting that mileage on. It's called "ghost miles." If you look on corral.net some1 is selling a predator for 250 shipped i think. Thats 150 off buying brand new.

you need to buy the programmer with gears. do it. I got mine for $300. your auto will feel better with the programmer (mine sure did), and you don't want to mess with your mileage. You'll lose more money than the programmer costs by adding false mileage if you ever want to sell your car. Gears and programmer, and you're car will be very very different. Too bad it will cost you almost a grand for parts + install.

and this programmer does what, exactly? it allows the new gears and the speedometer to match up? or what? and does it do anything else? man, if it wasn't for that $380, i'd probably go and get gears ASAP. oh well.. maybe after xmas and all the other expenses coming up.
