Well..being a vert your car is heavier. Being an auto is actually an advantage IF you you upgrade two things...gears(4.10) and your torque converter(2800). I have a auto and its an 02 GT which is supercharged now. I have about 13 grand into her. Had the option of rebuilding the motor or just buying a 04 Cobra. So now I just have a sick daily driver and really nice toy. I would say if you play around town then standard is the way to go. But if you like the track then auto is the way to go. I have many friends taking their standard tranny out of their 03/04 Cobras for autos for the track.

Stickers are easy to put on and take off. Just make sure you use that soaopy water solution when putting them on so they can slide around into the perfect fit. It's the same principle as window tinting. Good luck-Shane

same principle as window tinting? i don't get it.. (i don't know much about tints)

speaking of.. how much should i expect a tint to be? does the darkness matter? and i hear people saying they have 30% tint.. 5% tint... does the lower the number = darker tint? or higher number = darker tint?

okay, i have even more newbie questions.. YAY!

where could i find my VIN #? please be very specific.. remember, i don't know where a lot of parts are.. so if you say "next to the muffler," i'll have no idea what you mean. =(

dang, i had another newbie Q but i can't remember... ahh, next time..

I believe the tint # is the percentage of light that gets through the tint. make sure you see some other cars (from the inside!) before you get dark tint. you don't want to kill anyone. also make sure you get a lifetime warranty on the tint, if you don't get it from one place, go to another.

you can find your vin number by standing outside your car and looking at the bottom of the windshield (driver's side, I think, but if I'm wrong, look at the other side) and you should see a little metal plate with numbers on it.

sweet. my g/f has a nice shade on her civic.. i'll see if i can get mine done like that.

So if i were to get a supercharger, i wouldn't want to get 4:10s, right? is this correct? also, people say that for an auto, gears and a 'stall' are the best mods (bang for buck).. what's a stall? THANKS!
