Does a 98 Cobra have IRS. You could mix and match springs/shocks. I was told I should get cc plates by the Ford HP shop and I only lowered my car 1.25. The maximum motorsports cc plates are very nice. I would check out http://www.maximummotorsports.com/ they know best about suspension and have gobs of good info. I got the Tokico advanced Handleing kit off ebay with the Illumina 5 way adjustable shocks/struts but they also sell the nonadjustable shocks with the kit. This guy has good prices and free shipping but I'm not sure if the 98 Cobra has IRS or not. http://search.stores.ebay.com/jdmwer...256112QQsofpZ0
You could also check out http://steeda.com for ideas or http://stangsuspension.com

98 does not have IRS. I have Eibach Sportline springs on my 98 cobra and I love them. I got Koni "Yellow" shocks/struts about 8 months after i did my springs. There are some pics of my car on this site...

I have the Tokico springs I got in the package from jdmwerks13 on ebay. I like them. They lowered the car 1.25 and the ride is comfortable. Handles good too. I don't know how much it would lower a Cobra though. The Cobra springs are different than the GT from the factory so it may not lower your car as much.

Take a look at this.

MM&FF also did an article on one of these kits here.

I have the Steeda Sport Springs on my cobra, i believe they're the same as the tokico springs but im not 100% sure. They're supposed to lower the car 1-1.25" I went with a Steeda suspesion, the sports springs and tokico illumina 5 way adjustable struts/shocks.
