Default RE: Aluminum Driveshaft?

It's nice to have some REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE from someone who CAN make the comparison.

Thanks!

A lot of people on this board have run their cars hard on the street and at the track. How many stock driveshafts has anyone heard about breaking?

2000GT4.6:

I didn't notice ANY difference with my (yes, unlike everyone else in this post I acutally have one rofl) aluminum driveshaft. I wouldn't have bothered with one if my shop hadn't screwed up my other driveshaft and caused a super bad vibration in the driveline. It was a few pounds lighter, and somewhere on this website I posted the exact amount (I wieghed em both) but it wasnt more than a few pounds. It does seem to be holding up well though, and it won't rust like the stocker.
