i have a 1996 ford mustang gt and my driver side door accent panel not the door panel, where it holds the power window and power door switches, it keeps coming lose, i have a clip on it but it keeps sliding out of the slot, is their a way to fix this without buying another panel?

 

Got any pics of wht you are referring to? I pulled mine before, and the retaining clip on the back end fell out. Luckily it fell inside the door where I could still reach it. As long as it is not broken, you should be able to put it back in and snap it down properly.

 

at worst id say youll just have to pick up some new retaining clips. the switch panel should hold it in until then.

when i got my 6 used it had that panel screwed it,I dont know if the clip was broke before and they didnt know how to hold it in or what, but i just replaced the whole panel because i got a great deal on a pair of nicer lookin panels...but yeah just get some new clips would be best bet
