speedometer calibration
I'm planning to install 4.10 gears this spring and I was wondering if there was a way to recal. my speedo other than buying a handheld tuner. Can a Ford dealer or a garage with a standard DRB do it for me???

i myself bought a dallasmustang speedcal
90 bucks where i found it at ninosport, not sure what it is now though
but not only does it correct for gear changes, im doing a 15" tire conversion this summer, and the speedcal can correct for rear tire height changes. so its kind of like a two for one deal
i also believe they make the little speedo teeth gear things for like 15$ check into one of those
you should be able to find them all over the place

I would just hold off and get a tuner. You wont be dissapointed about it in the long run. Especially if your gonna do more mods. The speed cal is about $100 as said, a shop will probly charge you $100 (at least) to install it. Therefore your half way there for the cost of the tuner. Get the tuner and dont look back. Youll be better off.
