no, there will be more noise, because the rubber that is where the strut ties in, will be replaced with metal. so there will be more metal to metal contatct. i have O/R X so i didn't really notice any more niose. the ride will probably get a little worse.

Cant even take a guess what this all means. It's a mod people do to make their cars BETTER. It wont sqeek and your tires will thank you. Anyhow...Caster Camber plates are an ajustment and nothing more for your wheels. Anything more than a 1.5 drop would be a good candidate for them. I recommend Maximum Motorsports for them. Black around 150 and chrome around 250. Think I have a good pic of them somewhere. Bought mine off www.mustangtuning.com If your car is "bumpy" you might want to get rid of those Eibach springs..just a guess. Sounds like your springs could be sagging cause it happened in my 96 Cobra with Eibachs. Will never use anything BUT H&Rs from now on. After you get your springs and caster cambers installed you will need a good alignment-Shane

he asked if it will help the ride, i said no. did you install your CC plates? you remove the rubber cusions that help reduce noise. did you notice that there is more noise up front when you go over bumps? its because there is metal to metal contact. if you installed them you will know what i am talking about. if you didn't then i understand.

What does "sagging" mean. Its been pretty bumpy since I lowered it. Will the H&R springs be as bumpy over time? will my car be as low as it is now with those springs? Do you have pics of your 96 Cobra? Thanks for your help

I wanna invest in some lowering springs, but don't have the money for new shocks/struts and c/c plates, (well I do, but moving out is more important right now). If I get H&R lowering springs and nothing else, will I be ok? I want about a 1.5" drop or so, and I hope it atleast looks better than stock.

First of all..I have never in all three of my mustangs time ever heard of there being a problem with metal to metal or any noise. If you have noise comming from your caster camber plates then they are loose and your car is far from aligned. But no it wont help the ride other than preventing uneven tire wear.
As far as Hotchkis(SP?) is concerned I have never seen any Mustangs with them. I cant comment on them since I have never used them or heard any postives or negatives. Sagging is just the springs not holding their tension strength. You may notice that when you go over dips, railroad tracks that your car bottoms out. The ride might be rougher than before. IF you go with a 1.5 drop rite now and in two months get the caster cambers you would be ok. It's just two months that you might wear your tire a little more in one spot but I dont think it would be that bad. Springs are really easy to instll also and there are tech tips all over the net. Just dont do them like I did the first time and you will be ok! [&:] -Shane

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/minema...95.jpg&.src=ph Mystic that is now sold with Eibachs

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/minema...ed.jpg&.src=ph GT with H&R's

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/minema...86.jpg&.src=ph pic of all three at a car show. The Cobra I cut the springs till I get my H&R's next month. You can do this on Cobra springs but not GT's, Machs. It's because one is linear and one is progressive.

I dont know alot about shocks and struts man. I know that if yours are bad or worn then new ones would help. I hear great things about the ones that come stock on Cobras-Shane
