Anyone had a problem with their fog lights on a GT? I have had to replace the same one several times. I hane not been able to get a bulb that is as bright as the one that has not been replaced. The first one that was in it was bright.

 

buy two of the same kind and yur problem is solved right??

 

from my experience 899/893/880 bulbs differ in brightness for example I found that GE bulb is not as bright as phillips. you got to buy them in a set of two or get the exact same brand for replacement to have an even light distribution. another reason could be your fog light lens itself. make sure it is not foggy or the reflecting interior is not worn/burnt out. good luck

 

The lens looks fine. The one that I have replaced is no brighter than a parking light. The other one is bright. I don't remember but I think they are 40w bulbs. I sure don't want both of them dim like a parking light.

 

just get 893 ST (silverstars) they're bright as hell... almost as bright as my old headlights

 

Who sells them? I haven't seen them before.

 

they sell them at walmart they are like 30 bucks for a pair but they are very bright and legal. highly recommended.
