i know cobra and recaro makes really good seats but they are pricey. you might find a set from one of them that in your range. i would definitely stay away from ebay "racing seats," theyll probably snap in a crash

Last i checked corbeaus werent cheap. At least 300+ a seat for the ones that recline and actually look good. Only cheap sets are like APC and the summit racing brand seats. Cobra seats are my fav in black leather but they are like a grand a seat.

Thats pretty cheap to me. I would never buy an apc seat. Kirky is also a cheap seat but its just aluminum and it needs a brace in the back to a rollbar and it isnt to comfortable for a daily driver. An average or expensive seat would be Sparco, Recaro, or Cobra. I have a Recaro SPG-XL cost me $980 for the seat and another $300 for the mounting bracket for my mustang, tracks, and seat braket. I think the cheapest you should go is with corbeau $300 for a seat and like $100 for the tracks. Dont worry about getting a matching seat. I only have one racing seat in mine. I dont care about the looks though, everyone always asks me that though. As long as your in control of you car who cares about your passenger sliding around. You might have better luck buying 03-04 cobra seats, there better than gt seats. the cobra seats actually have lower torso support, but not really anything for your shoulders or legs. Heres a picture of my seat. just gives you an idea, even though its out of your price range. My suggestion is to look up dealers for corbeau, sparco, recaro..... and sit in them before you buy one, to make sure it fits you perfectly!! I went to a porsche dealer to fit mine, then I bought it online for $300 cheaper.

I know my seat looks funny with the stock seat belt through it, but I need to install some griggs frame connectors, then an autopower rollbar and then a 4 point harness. But really I dont even need to have a seat belt on because that seat keeps me planted, I can do 1g lateral with both hands on the wheel and feet perfectly on the pedals. No more trying to support myself with another arm or my legs.
