Default Header/Exhuast Leaks

When I get my car from the shop tomorrow if there are leaks, how would I be able to tell? Thanks

Sound will be the first thing to look for.You might hear a ticking sound that you didn't have before.Exhaust stains around where the parts join together will tell you where they are.The welds around the collector and the mounting flanges can also have leaks,so if you hear something be sure to look there also.

It will sound like a tick. The best way to test for leaks is to drive near a wall with the windows down and bog the motor, i.e. 15mph and shift in to 4th and floor it. It will become very apprent then.

Also watch for leaks at the heads. If left unchecked you will burn a valve or two
