Default upr xpipe hitting frame

Just got my upr xpipe installed on my 02, on the passanger side where it bolts to the headers it hits the frame when the motor moves, grrr it only does it when I hit a big bump, my mechanic just put a slight dent in it to try and take it away and now it just makes a slight sqeak instead of the clang, is there anything else we can do to help this out? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for your input.

I've had mine on and off a couple times, but never had it hit the frame. It is now actually hanging to low, and it scrapes on a bump in the gravel lot here at work. Plus I've got a small leak... just too lazy to get under there again... that and I lost the new gasket I bought...

Disconnect the x-pipe at the cat-backs, start the car up and rev it up and see if it'll hit anything, if it doesn't, you can adjust the fitament of your cat-back to help solve the problem.

I also have the UPR O/R X on my 02 GT and have not had any problems. I put it on myself, and it was extremely tight on that side, but no problems.
