I'm tryin to sell my mustang and I wanna install my 5" tach that I've got. I havn't seen many installs in SN95's so if you could post a couple of pics to give me an idea, that would be great. Or if you could just describe where you have it and where you ran the wires, that would be great too.

You are trying to sell it so you are installing a 5"tach? That makes no sense. Personally, I think those large tachs are hideous and tacky. Looks ricey to me. You are better off selling the tach seperate.

Sell the Tach seperately. It won't do anything whatsoever to increase the value or likelyhood of selling the car. Infact, it might only hurt things. Fixing the airbag will definitly help things out though.

Look, the factory tach doesn't work so it will be functional. It's what I have laying around so it'll go w/the car. And your posts aren't helping me either.

Ya know, maybe it's a good thing I'm selling it to buy an Integra, I can't get ANY help on ANY Mustang forums. I've diagnosed and completely fixed problems solely using Import forums on my Accord. And I can't even get a pic of a tach install here.
I've actually asked several technical questions here (and other Mustang forums) and have got nothing It's sad when the Honda/Acura community is much friendlier and more helpful. This is very frusterating.

It's not that difficult to know where to mount it. Mount it on the right side of the steering wheel on the dash above the console. Jesus christ.

I would never stick one of those things on a mustang (other than a gutted drag racer) because it looks cheesy, especially in a V6. It'd be much more worthwhile to get the stocker fixed. There is no specific place to mount it but most people put it on the dash to the right of the steering wheel. Many import/honda guys would know better about sticking something like that on an underpowered car.
