Hey nice sounding car man! You know I had a cam swap in a 94 Z28 a couple of years ago, and after the job, I was left with exactly the same problem you have, the idle that takes a while to drop down. Unfortunatly I don't know what might be the cause. I ordered a couple of x274h cams for my 99 mustang, with springs along with a Hypertech powerprogrammer, the clerk from Summit Racing advised me to get one of those and upgrade or tune the computer after the cam swap. I will let you know if it did any difference.
Wow what mods do you have done now. XE274AH's are stage 3 cam's. Your going to have a nasty sounding cam at idle I will tell you that much. From what I have heard stage 1 is all I needed. I wanted stage 2 but everyone talked me out of it. Also Everywhere was sold out of it so I had no choice. LOL... I bought the last XE262AH cams from Summit, last week. All of there warehouses were out, just one left and I grab it. I even called comp cams and they arent getting blanks for 2 weeks so they wont be able to grind new ones until then. Good luck with your cam install, its not too bad. If you need any questions answered feel free to IM me. I hope you made the right choice with the stage 3's.

I have always had the hanging rpm problem, when ever I put that accufab 75mm throttle body on. I dont get it. The cams didnt do it.

I think it sounds good. I'm not sure about the throttle sticking. Let me think about it a little.
