Default Torque Converter

Researching my next mod which will either be full exhaust (LT's, midpipe, catback) or the torque converter. TC is about 1/2 the price so I'm thinking going with it first. Only slightly modded car, looking for stall of no more than 2800. Summit has B&M and Hughes Proformance. Both 2400 stall. Are either of these good quality. Need some advice on what would be best for my car.

i have been looking into Precision Industries and TCI converters. I yhave yet to make up my mind. I would research what they are made outta and how long they say they will last. Just email the 2 companies and ask them whats good about them. Thats what I am doing. How much are these converters your looking at going for?

If you are going to be calling them make sure you know what to ask because they will just tell you the good stuff and you wouldnt know what to ask to really know more about them.

The two I saw on summit were a little more than 450. I looked at precision, but the only TC's i saw were racing ones. I don't need a 3000+ stall speed, don't have enough power in the engine to need it that high.

Precision Industries is a great company, and also a vendor here ---------------------->
They have a great breakdown and detailed info on parts and actual performance and build of their converters. I bet if you called them, gave them your mod list and a list of future plans for the car they could point you in the right direction.
