if i were you mitch, i'd keep trying as hard as you can, just keep the mrs and the kids there to take care of you when your mind gets anxious[8D]
as for that plastic coated chair...
i vote for cutting a hole in it, hollowing out the middle, and putting a bucket underneath it,, then, you'd almost NEVER have to get up

Well just think, by the time u get back in the stang, ur body might have forgotten how fast it really is. So once u put the pedal to the floor again in may suprise u. At least thats how it was for me after bein in Korea for a year.

6 months to really be mobile and a year for full recovery. I will either walk with a cane or limp forever though.
