cam shopping....
im about to buy some cams for my car.....i have read and heard that i should go with the vt stage 1 cams....and use my stock springs......but i plan to port and polish heads and get a p51 intake later on down the road, should i still get the stage 1 cams or should i go ahead and get the stage 2?

RE: cam shopping....
your really not gonna see much gains from stage 2s without a forged bottom end... so you might just wanna go with stage 1s p51 and p&p then when you decide to forge your bottom end get some stage 2s and you will be making some serious muscle

i made 301 rwhp on my stock non pi block with comp 270's and a pi intake. i currently have comp 278's (the hottest cam comp makes w/o a custom grind, 242/246 duration) on a stock mach 1 block. no forged internals. do the cams once, VT stage II's and springs.
