Drag Radials?

Drag Radials?
Well since im getting the 4.10s taken care of and installed, im going to need tires. Would you guys recommend buying drag radials or slicks? I was to be able to race on the street too. And would the stock 98 gt 16' rims be wide enough for what im looking for?

RE: Drag Radials?
DRAG RADIALS for sure. you do not need slicks, those are strictly for for track. Nittos if you want the most life out of the drag radials, Micky's and BFG's are better for hooking up but have less life in them.

Well, if you want to keep your rims, I believe nittos make some tires in the stock size for you. If you want, you can upgrade to a bigger 17 inch rim and run another size tire as well. Depends on what you want to do.

275/60/16 would be a 29" tall tire
Stock is 225/55/16 which is 15.7" tall. 275/45/16 would be exactly the same height as the stockers.
No experience with the 16". But since stock is 225/55/16, I think i would only recommend going a 255/50/16, which is 26" tall. Someone else with that has these wheels/tires can chim in, but that would be widest/biggest i would go with 16"wheels
