Default 4.10's are rollin'

I got my 4.10's re-shimmed, this time i did the whole install by myself pretty much, i took the old shim off my old pinion and used that, its perfect no noise at all. I love the gears, there awesome, i dont know how people can say they dont have enough 1st gear with 3.27's..but 4.10's kick a$$ OHh and my speedo is off like crazy, what can i do to make it accurate? a tuner or a speedo gear in the tranny? Any help would be excellent, thanks

You can either do it by a Tuner Or a Speed Caliber. Either one

The tuner will do so much for you, so its worth it for you to get it. I bought mine "used" for $200. A used tuner is like not even considered used like an engine part. Most likely it was used once to upload the new tune and clear a few codes. Buy used if you can.

i couldnt find a tranny gear big enough to fix mine. i bought a 23 tooth and the speedo is still off by like 15 mph so dont waste your money on that.

i forget when they switched it to the electronic calibration but i know for 96s you cant change the speedo by a tuner, i think thats the same through 98 meaning you need the right speedo gear.
