rear end gears

I want to have 3.73 gears installed. would I need to have my computer retuned ? are there any other mods I would need to make ? p.s 02 Gt thanks

You will need a speedo recal or tuner.

your speedometer will be off when you install the gears, how much I don’t know. You will have to get it calibrated when you install the gears. When I installed 4:10 in mine, my speedometer was off by 12-15 MPH.

the amount off is expenential. (huh?) it will be off by a percent.
3.73 divided by 3.23 = 1.154 your speedo will be off by 15.4%
If your speedo says 50mph, your going 42.5mph
at 100mph your only doing 84.6mph

The Diablo has a section for Gears Swaps and taller tires
