Default Installed MGW shifter

All I got to say is OMG! What a difference from the stock POS. There is no possible way you can ever miss 3rd with this shifter. I highly reccommend everyone that still has their stock shifter, GET RID OF IT NOW. Get the MGW and you will be happy. Installation is a cinch. No way you could F it up. www.mgwltd.com Next for me will be 4.10`s. Cant wait.....

what did you do with the stops? i herd someone say that the directions say to back them all the way out on the 3650 tranny because it has internal stops.

talk to some of the ppl that have it, they say the internal stops sucks so you should use the MGW ones. Dont remember what all was said, try a search.

To the OP
So you think I should go with MGW Short-Shifter as my next mod instead of 4.10s first...I was planning 4.10s then the MGW Shifter, but perhaps I should be able to shift better before making the car accelerate more, either way those are my next 2 mods then saving for the Procharger Kit.

For now, I have them out. So far it seems to be ok. I will find out though. The directions do say, take them out so thats what I did. I really dont see a need for them as of right now.

well i dont see any harm in putting the stops in as a safety measure if you set them so that it is fully in gear. iono ill see when i get it.

Exactly! as long as you set them so the gears are fully engagable your good. True that! Also I would just like to say that I also love my MGW it was worth the money. It reminds me of shifting at some gay arcade game.LOL Its greatness!
