Does it wind in every gear or just first? Did you break them in, or did you give it hell right off the bat? I got my 3.73's installed a few weeks ago and i broke them in for a couple hundred miles before i gave them hell. Mine don't whine at all, just maybe a little bit in first gear if i wind it up and let it come down slow........

its not necessarily the gears that it whines in, just at certain mph....Like around 40 or so mph, and is really audible in the higher gears 3,4,5 when there is less engine noise...And I just got it done a couple days ago....I have not given them hell at all, I am very easy on them so far...Is there a break period that has some noise, whining?

I don't think the break in period should have any whinning. I've heard that if you don't break them in properly you'll get a terrible whine. There's a certain speed in my car, even before i got the gears done, it sounded like something was whinning, but it wasn't the gears......i think it was a cross between the fuel pump and the tranny humming or something....maybe that's what it is...i dunno. It's also a possiblity that whoever installed them didn't shim them properly, even if it's off a slight bit you might get a little noise....
