Default Strut/Shock question.....again.

I lowered my car over Christmas. I have the H&R Sport Springs, but still have the stock shocks and struts. If I ever get the car back from the third tranny rebuild I am going to replace the shocks. I know everyone has an opinion on wich are best, but my question is this.... Is there a better shock for the decrease in travel? Does one manufacturer make a shock specifically for lowered cars, or is it just a recalibrated rate? The ride height was lowered about an inch and a half. Thanks for the help!

It sounds like bilstein and tokico and a popular choice around here.

I would go with Tokico or Bilstein.
