40K is young

as long as the car hasnt been at redline for 90% of those miles, you are fine

i bought my 99GT with 48K 18 months ago and it was stock

now its got exhaust gears and tires

it'd be silly to wait for something else when youve got a perfectly enjoyable car to modify now

It all depends on what you want. I know it's hard to get the new car fever out of your system. Good luck on your decision.

I started modding my car at 102K......so if you are worried about the life of your car.....you've got plenty.

I'm at 122K now....and still modding.

I would keep it and mod more. 40K is nothing on a 4.6 really. Keep it and use the Cobra money to mod it to be faster than Cobras.

I'd keep modding it, my 01 GT has almost 80,000 miles and I'm just starting to mod.
