sad story about a mustang I saw today
Hello all~
I came to work today at the shop I work at, and I saw this gorgeous looking red Mustang convertible with tan top. I'd say a 99-02 style. I asked my boss why it was there, and he said the customer pushed it in to have us see why it stopped running and would not start. I got worried... pushing a stang in for that reason is no good. I found out later something was drastically BLOWN in the engine. I think it threw a rod or something. My boss said he asked the customer what the maintenance life was like on the car, and apparently this jacka** didn't change the oil for 25000 miles. I almost cried. What a neglected mustang, and the owner was not worthy of it's presence!
Our shop may buy it and swap an engine into it and sell it, not sure yet.

I know that's what I thought. Wouldn't you notic ethe "low oil" light when it starts getting low? Let alone the ticking valves ? Or the lack of oil pressure??

lol yeah... how dumb do you have to be. even if you are incompitant enough to change it yourself, you can have it done with quality regular oil for what, $20- $30?
