I put delta 40 flows and a pacesetter o/r h-pipe on mine and it sounds great. WOT or not, It has a very aggressive sound but not obnoxious IN MY OPINION! I have set off a car alarm or two in parking lots.

A little off-topic, but what the hell is WOT? I've seen it used a number of times here, and have been waiting to see if it'd be explained, but I'd really like to know.
Means wide open throttle....so means you're flooring it

There's sure a lot of flowmaster lovers in here...believe it or not chambered mufflers don't flow all that great, but they do sound good. Straight-through mufflers flow a lot better and sound good IMO...like LM, magnaflow, hooker. And there's more then enough back-pressure created by running cats...so that's not a issue.

what do you have againts flows? And how did you not know they were on there? They sound so sexy! LOL

I have a 97 GT with just flowmaster mufflers, they would sound so nice with more sound coming to them. I like the deep mellow rumble they let out. (even tho there is a vast HP difference between your car and mine, they sound about the same)

I'm not sure about the lm2s, but I hear they are a bit more aggressive. Were your old flows welded in or clamped in? I figure if you have them in good condition you can fetch around $100 for the pair used. I'm gonna buy a set of flows from my buddy for $100 for our 69 impala! (he's takin them off his 72 nova for larger diameter flows)

Yea well I figured it was stock because the dealership didn't tell me they were on there plus everyone said that they sound really good stock and I've never really heard another like mine up close so I just figured they were stock......but today i tried to stick i mirror up under the car so i could read to see what kind they were but the print was too small...so i'll just have to wait until thursday when i get my lm2s on to let you guys know.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Flowmasters....They were the one of the very first Mods i put on my stang before i Got serious about it and started buying up stuff..LOL.....I had the 40 series delta flow and their definetly louder than stock.

In that video were the GT raced the Cobalt SS...That GT had Flowmaster 40 series on it...I can tell by the sound...Flowmaster has a one of a kind sound...You can't tell me that Mustang didn't sound good.....
