2500 is about right for the low end superchargers, but as mentioned...it would be embarrasing to have a blown mustang that only made 280-300 at the flywheel.

You can find plenty of brand new supers around online for $2,400-2,700 that run between 7-9lbs of boost..which is all i'm looking for. Even at 7lbs of boost all the ones i've been looking at guarantee a minimum of 35% increase in horsepower. That's rougly 305hp. Not to bad at all. That's minimum too...so being a little generous we'll say a 45% increase which would make it 326hp. Most of the ones i've looked at were guaranteed anywhere between 35%-70% increase. I'd be happy with that. My ultimately goal would be to have anywhere between 305-330 flywheel hp. 305 I would be happy with. That's just me.

If that's all you want, just supercharge it and you'll reach your goal.

Check out Summit. I'm looking at a Vortech for $2,4xx right now in their mag...however the one in the mag is for a Fox stang.
