Boost/Fuel Pressure gauges

Boost/Fuel Pressure gauges
I am getting a supercharger installed now and need the boost and fuel pressure gauges. Should I spend the extra 300 and get the electrical? I really dont want to spend more than I have to but the mechanic said the mechanical gauges for Boost and Fuel Pressure are bad gauges. Has anyone installed these? Easy? Hard?
