OK, So, useless it is, thanks guys, I feel bad for those that are actually bidding on them then, quite a few are actually selling, I should go buy a hundred pack of resistors from Radio shack and sell them for 3 bucks a piece on ebay, lol

 

Most likely totally useless. The only thing it might get you is a slightly advanced timing (of sorts) and a lot bigger fuel bill when you find you are all of a sudden knocking and now require premium gas. Not worth the $$$.

 

This looks like a simple hack to trick the car into running richer.

 

Making the car run richer wont increase your HP... its leaning it out that increases HP. If you dont have the spark or compression.. or if your not forcing enough air in the cylander, then your just going to be wasting fuel plain and simple. Balanced is 13.. when people tune a N/A car they push it between 13-14.. slightly lean but not near enough to do damage unless your boosted... You get horse power gains from your CAI, TB, and Plenum because they allow more air flow into the cylander leaning it out slightly.. if you make your car run rich, your negating any gains you would get from those.
