Whats the widest tires i can put on a stock height 98 mustang gt without rubbing? 275? 305? 315? Thanks for the help

 

with 17x10.5, you can run a 335 series, but most people run 315's. I had problems on my 96 with them rubbing one of my quad shocks during hard breaking and harder right turns.. But once removed, you won't have any problems.

 

i still have the stock 16' rims tho..dunno if im gonna buy new rims yet, but i need tires pretty bad

 

Then you are pretty limited if you are keeping the stockers.. Might as well put the same size tire that you have on there now but just a better performing one.
