Default Cold air intake question

Hey, I'm new here. So, I'm sorry if this question has been asked. I was wondering if the cold air intake on a 2001 Mustang would fit on a 2004? The 2001 one is, I believe ,a 3.8 V6 engine, and I have a 4.6 V8 and its obviously a GT. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, no difference in motors between late 2001's and the 2004's, if they were both GT's or V6's.
Absolutely not, you answered the question yourself, they are two different motors.
