Curios, will the bumper cover from a Cobra fit on a normal Mustang GT? I have a 2000 convertible and the bumper was damaged. I've got to replace it and since I have to buy another any way, I was considering buying the Cobra cover.

is it your front or your back? the 99-04 cobra back bumper would fit your gt and the 99-01 cobra front bumper would fit your gt with no problem. the 03-04 cobra front bumper you have to adjust and other stuff to make it fit(im not sure what exactly to do)

 

for the front bumper i think you'll have to push back the two parts that point up on either side of the grill opening(they are a bit taller than the GT's). there was a pic of somewhere around here, i'll see if i can find it

 

It is the rear bumper, sorry forgot to mention that. Do you think it will look cheesy to have the rear bumper have the cobra name and have the GT emblems on the side? I usually am not one much for looks, but I like the Cobra insignia on the rear bumper. And I said before, gotta buy one any way. By the way thanks to the both of you for the reply.

 

i love the look of the 03/04 cobra bumpers but def get the COBRA filled, it will look very clean.

 

just buy the cobra body kit for your car. you can get them on ebay. if your going to do cobra you should do it all not just the back bumper.
