Any of you guys buy your car on Ebay? If so, how did you go about getting financing for it?

I've never bought a car on ebay but i have sold one.I think you would need to talk to your bank or if the person your buying from has the finance option then you could try that.Make sure you have the backing before you bid.

im pretty sure ebay deal with it. unless its a dealer that lists the car.
anyway i bought my old 98 off ebay. just be careful because they "forgot" to disclose alot of info about it.
like the intake was cracked. radiator had a hole in it. alot more body damage then listed. we ended up getting $700 back from them though. eventhough it cost 1100 to fix everyhting.

You need to make sure that you have the cash or financing in advance of Bidding on a car. But remember if you get preapproved from your bank for a car loan and you bid on something and win it you will have to tell your bank what it is and if they feel it's not worth what you are gonna pay they will not give you $. Other options are to get an unsecured loan so you can buy anything you want (hard to do if you don't have good credit.

I paid cash for mine, 3-4 years ago, 2000 Explorer, not a single problem in the last 40k. There are good sellers out there, just do your due diligence....
