Those are some big(ish) cams. Where do you make max power? How was the curve?

It makes max power at 5700 rpm. The curve is pretty smooth through the whole band. I will post a picture when I get home. The torqueslows a little at 3500 then comes right back up but it consistently makes power. The cams are only .500 lift but I wanted the sound and without ported heads (which will not happen for a long time) I could not get the sound I wanted out of the .550 lift cam.

what do you mean by that? What sound were u going for?

More lift=more lope, or do I have it backwards? lol

I think its the duration that gives you lope. The more overlap that you have, the more lope. Correct me if im wrong...less LSA=more lope...

That is correct the more duration you have the more lope. The more lift you have more power but with more lift and duration things get really tight in there. So I just went with more duration for the sound. It rained this afternoon so no idle video yet but here is the dyno sheet if you can read it.

The A/F looks a little rich there at 4k??????

But there is no change in power, so I guess it's fine. Congrats again. Graph looks great

So you basically went with a NPI cam on a PI car to get the sound???

What did the pistons do for CR, is it higher than stock? I didn't see you have shorties, thats one HELL of a number for a car with your setup and shorties on it, must be a great tune.

Torque is dipping there too, you could probably pick up a few ft/lbs leaning it out there a bit.
