The reason it peaked where it did is the stock heads and the .500 lift. He went with a lower lift cam so he could run a "bigger" cam so far as duration etc, for the sound effect.

the car would have pulled farther, even on stock heads, with the aftermarket pi cams (with .550 lift) but with the comp 274s (the PI ones) you can have PTV issues.

It makes max power at 5700 rpm. The curve is pretty smooth through the whole band. I will post a picture when I get home. The torqueslows a little at 3500 then comes right back up but it consistently makes power. The cams are only .500 lift but I wanted the sound and without ported heads (which will not happen for a long time) I could not get the sound I wanted out of the .550 lift cam.
So you basically went with a NPI cam on a PI car to get the sound???

What did the pistons do for CR, is it higher than stock? I didn't see you have shorties, thats one HELL of a number for a car with your setup and shorties on it, must be a great tune.

The A/F looks a little rich there at 4k??????

But there is no change in power, so I guess it's fine. Congrats again. Graph looks great
Torque is dipping there too, you could probably pick up a few ft/lbs leaning it out there a bit.
The pistons did raise the CR I don't know to what exactly but it is higher. The guys down at Modular Depot do a great job on tuning. I won't take my car anywhere else.

What duration do u have.I thought u would make power more in the laterrpms.Mine is at 6100rpm and 4800rpm but i do have portedheads but your duration is more then mine if u have the stage 3 cams. The 274 is stage 3 arent they
Duration is 236/240. They are stage 3 for NPI. It worked out well also because it makes power lower in the band so I don't have to rev so high on the stock crank and rods.
